Imagine it’s a sunshiny Sunday morning and you’ve just woken up in paradise. Needless to say, you’ve just had the best night’s sleep you’ve ever had. In part, thanks to the luxurious, linen-draped bed you’ve spent the night in. And partly because this dream of a home, that your sleepy eyes see before you, is very much real, and very much yours.
That home is Endeavour Foundation’s latest $2.2 million Prize Home. A fully-furnished, four-bedroom contemporary oasis, set on over half an acre of prime hilltop land at Little Mountain on the Sunshine Coast, with a beautiful resort-style pool rippling in anticipation outside, and the nearby ocean calling your name.
It’s a nice fantasy, right?
However, it could be your reality, if your lucky ticket number is drawn at Endeavour Foundation’s HQ on August 17, it could all become a reality.
And if you thought it couldn’t get any better, did we mention that you can also win a shiny new Mercedes-Benz GLB SUV parked in your driveway?
We told you it was paradise.
So, if you need any extra help imagining what life might be like in your $2.2 million oasis, our team has put together what your dream day would look like if this was your Prize Home paradise.
While it’s just so tempting to sleep in and stay tucked under that luxurious linen a little longer, it’s probably best to jump up and get cracking. Life is short and the daylight is burning.
Get the blood flowing with a few quick laps in the pool or an early morning walk down on the beach. The closest of Caloundra’s beaches is Dicky Beach, which is a mere 10-minute drive away, so jump in the Merc and pop down for a sandy stroll and be back in time for breakfast. Just imagine if that could become your morning routine, every day. Does it get any better?
On your way home, slip into Moffatt Beach for a coffee at The Pocket Espresso, a local institution. Seeing as it’s Sunday, and you have time, skip the takeaway cup and opt to enjoy your latte at the bench out front and watch the surfers out on the break. You may even choose to settle in for brunch if you feel so inclined, or head back home for breakfast by your new pool.
Deciding on how to spend the next few hours depends on what inspires you. With so many possibilities to choose from, you might need to get the crew together for a quick ‘rock, paper, scissors’ decider.
If rock wins, jump on your mountain bikes for the ten-minute bike ride to the Sugar Bag Road MTB trails. This popular mountain bike park is packed with trails for every standard, from easy-but-fun green trails to hold-on-to-your-helmet black trails for the more advanced and adventurous riders.
If paper comes out on top, grab a magazine, book or even the Sunday paper (yes, they still exist) for a lazy day stretched out on the outdoor lounge supervising the kids in the pool.
Or if scissors take the win, then it would be time to cut a path straight to Currimundi Lake for some SUP activity (aka Stand Up Paddle boarding). Kitethrills at the lake hires out stand up paddle boards and kayaks by the hour so you can practice and test it out before you buy. No need to book, just turn up.
The beauty of living close to the beach is that you can pick what time of the day works best for you, and avoid the crowds.
We recommend going at dawn when the air is still, the water is glassy, and the sun is just peeking above the horizon line.
Or maybe at sunset, when the crowds have all gone home, and you end the day sharing the beach with just a few rogue seagulls.
Heck, when you live this close, you can even go twice a day. And one of the great things about Caloundra is that there are so many beaches to choose from, you can take your time to explore them all to find your favourite.
What better way to end the day than by sharing a meal and some laughs with your family and friends. And now that you have that amazing outdoor entertainers area, yours new abode is just the place to meet.
Even if you don’t consider yourself chef material, it’s hard to go wrong cooking on a Beefmaster BBQ.
And then when the sun has disappeared and the sunset has faded, why not pop a batch of fresh popcorn and kick back in the media room for a cosy movie night. If you’re a Clooney or Roberts fan, we can highly recommend ‘Ticket to Paradise’.
If you’re sold on the idea of spending a day, a week, or even a lifetime in this Sunshine Coast paradise, make sure you snap up a ticket or perhaps few today.
